On Saturday, February 5, Independence Center hosted its third annual Dancing with the St. Louis Stars competition at the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. Who won, you ask? Arnold Donald, President and CEO of the Executive Leadership Council, and his dance partner, Lucy Fitzgerald were crowned the 2011 dance champions! They walked away with the top honors on Saturday night, winning not only 1st Place, but also the Crowd Favorite Award and tying for the Judges Favorite Award. Arnold and Lucy weren't the only ones dazzling on the dance floor - all of the dancing couples brought their best!
The final results for the competition were:
2nd Place: Michelle Tibbs, Independence Center member, and her professional dance partner Michael Fitzgerald
3rd Place: Jim Castellano of RubinBrown LLP and his professional dance partner Angi Heien
4th Place: Craig Schnuck of Schnuck Markets and his professional dance partner Elena Lyashenko
5th Place: Stephanie Riven of David Bury and Associates, and her professional dance partner Redd Williams
6th Place: Frank and Betty Tejada, the winners of the online 8th couple dance contest.
7th Place: Monica Adams of FOX 2 News and her professional dance partner Steve Brockman
8th Place: Claire Kellett of KMOV Channel 4 and her professional dance partner Spiro Marko
