The album
You're a frontman in a popular 1990s punk/rock/ska/reggae band that still frequently plays well-attended shows.
You manage to collaborate with a brewery to release an alcoholic homage to your 4th studio album, Receiving the Gift of Flavor.
You own a hot dog shop with two St. Louis locations and a massive following.
And, thankfully, one of those hot dog shops happens to be next door to a bar that will host the local release of your band's beer.
On Sunday, October 11th at 2 p.m., the Tick Tock Tavern and The Urge officially bring The Gift of Flavor—a 5.5% Belgian-Style Wit Beer brewed in collaboration with Rolla's Public House Brewing Company—to the St. Louis market.
While fans did get a taste in August when the band did a live re-recording of the album at their August event at the Ozark Theater in Webster Groves, this is the first time it will be served in St. Louis, at a bar, with the band there to celebrate.
