The following list is accurate as of a late October press date. A condensed version will be published in SLM's December 2018 issue.

Editor's Note: There was an abnormal number of restaurant closings this month, especially considering that the final quarter is traditionally quite lucrative. Say goodbye to Coffee Cartel, Element, Quincy Street Bistro, and Parigi, and make plans to visit Cardwell's and Big Baby Q before they close at year's end. On the positive side, Marc Del Pietro and Chris Sommers launched new concepts (58hundred and Gringo, respectively) and toss another piece of tuna on the poke pile (the super cool Poke Munch in Creve Coeur).
