The following list is accurate as of a late June press date.
Editor's Note: Given the present state of the industry, we were pleasantly surprised at the lack of closings this month (Parlor and Takashima Records have closed "until further notice," and were not listed for the time being). June openings include the city's second Shake Shack; the biggest Mission Taco Joint to date (which includes an arcade and impressive tortilla making operation); Sports & Social, an "eatertainment" complex (with a huge patio) across from Busch Stadium; and Chicken Out, a nifty fried chicken sandwich concept on the Delmar Loop. On the near horizon (and already eliciting a flood of fond memories) is the July revival of a St. Louis favorite, The Parkmoor.
