The "ins, outs, and almosts" in metro St. Louis for January 2020

The following list is accurate as of a late January press date. A condensed version will be published in SLM's March issue.

Editor's Note: It's unsettling when a seemingly busy restaurant on a prominent corner shuts its doors, but such was the case with 1764 Public House in the CWE. And alas, following the closure of Copia in Des Peres (the last of three locations), the owner's prediction of "a Midwest chain of Copias” may never come to pass. The biggest hoopla this month arose over the reopening of the beloved World's Fair Donuts, while the most impressive newcomer was Noto Italian Restaurant in St. Peters, where early raves are pouring in for a young couple's adherence to Italian authenticity.
