The "ins, outs, and almosts" in metro St. Louis for January 2018

The following list is accurate as of a late January press date. A condensed version will be published in SLM's March 2018 issue.

Editor's Note: Under the "didn't see that one coming" banner was the closure of The Libertine and the announced March 24 shuttering of Milagro Modern Mexican (the latter is scouting for a new location). On a brighter note, January marked the arrival of Court Louie, a food truck court that serves its customers inside (the first of its kind in the country, according to the owner). Also of interest is the opening of the massive Casa Juárez Mexican Town (which includes a tequila tasting bar and a street taco bar) and the late-month arrival of Del Pietro's, Mike Del Pietro's tribute to his parents' legendary restaurant, which we predict will become instantly popular due to its affordable pricing and central location (the former Riverbend/Harvest space).
