Editor's Note: This month, increased competition was at least partly to blame for the shuttering of two established restaurants, Stratton's in Webster and Remy's in Clayton. On a positive note, of the dozen new restaurants to open in December, six of them rise above the fray: The Clover and the Bee, Louie, Shake Shack, L'Acadiane, Billie-Jean, and Honey Pit Smokehouse.
