Main Event in Chesterfield (17027 N. Outer 40) has expanded its kitchen to widen its scope as a one-stop family destination.

The 50,000-square-foot venue opened this summer as part of The District. It marked the first metro area location for the Plano, Texas–based company, which currently operates in 17 states. The entertainment complex spans a range of attractions and activities: arcade, bowling, virtual reality stations, laser tag, mini golf, escape rooms, billiards, karaoke...and now Family Kitchen, which opened its doors on November 1. 

Main Event positioned Family Kitchen to be a dining destination in and of itself, whether guests plan on interacting with any of the other attractions or not.

The new restaurant offers a range of dining options. New entrée items include crispy chicken sandwiches, burgers (such as the three-patty Triple Lava Burger (pictured above) and a self-explanatory Peanut Butter Bacon and Jelly Burger), and pizza offerings (with hand-tossed or pan-cooked crust).

The Crowd Pleaser Family Feast

Family-style feasts include preset groupings of meals intended to feed four or five people, with three options: a pizza and wings combo, a fully loaded nacho dinner, and the Crowd Pleaser (featuring three entrées of your choice from the handheld chicken and burgers menu along with a side of fries, mac and cheese, tater tots, or a side salad).

Alternative meat and healthy options are also available, including a Beyond Burger and a cauliflower crust pizza. There are also four salad options, as well as a No-Bun Burger Bowl (with all the fixings of a cheeseburger sans the bread and condiments).

Topping off the new menu is a selection of dessert options, with such sweets as ice cream, cookies, and milkshakes. The signature dessert (pictured at right) is a mason jar cheesecake that comes in three flavors: Oreo Cookie, Caramel Apple, and Chocolate Hazelnut.
