Patrons at 2nd Shift Brewing can soon enjoy Filipino-inspired eats with their beer.
Guerrilla Street Food recently announced it will open a second location inside the craft brewery (1601 Sublette, on the Hill) on Wednesday, July 5. This location joins GSF's first brick-and-mortar location on South Grand at Arsenal and its original food truck. The menu will offer favorites such as the Flying Pig and the Chicken Adobo.
After GSF co-founders Brian Hardesty and Joel Crespo met with 2nd Shift owner Steve Crider, the teams came to a quick decision. "Steve and the 2nd Shift team are true innovators within craft beer in St. Louis," Hardesty and Crespo said in a statement. "We share that passion to offer St. Louisans something different."
A kitchen inside 2nd Street is ready for use, and the GSF team plans to develop menu items available only at the brewery. A third location of the fast casual joint is also planned for the new Tropical Liqueurs location in the Grove, which was slated to open this summer but is now aiming for an early fall opening.
