The yearly phenomenon known throughout the country as “Restaurant Week” has become so popular that some cities—like Clayton--now have two of them.
The most recent Clayton Restaurant Week in January of this year attracted over 19,000 diners, according to organizer Amit Dhawan, Managing Partner of SYNERGY Productions, with many restaurants reporting waiting lists and sellout nights.
And so the first-ever summer edition of Clayton Restaurant Week (CRW) will take place from July 14 – July 20.
This year’s lineup includes 13 of Clayton’s better dining establishments. All will be offering what’s now become the standard promotion: a three-course dinner for $25 per person, plus tax and tip.
CRW boasts a charity tie-in as well, with guests having the option of adding a $5 “Extra Helping” donation to their dining bill. In January, over $10,000 was raised for Operation Food Search, a St. Louis area food bank.
Restaurant Week promotions are a win-win: diners have a reason pay restaurants a visit (or a revisit) and participating restaurants have an incentive to make some new friends.
