What: Taste of U City
When: May 9, 5 to 8 p.m.
Where: Heman Community Center, 975 Pennsylvania Ave (at Olive)
Price: $20, plus a donation for Operation Food Search
The goodies: Food and drink (includes beer and mixed drinks) from 30 local restaurants and food stores.
Extras: Cooking demos, local entertainment

What: Taste of Edwardsville
When: May 18, noon to 9 p.m.
Where: SIUE Meridian Ballroom
Price: $50, includes unlimited food and beer
The goodies: Samples from 15 local restaurants
Extras: Emceed by KSDK’s Sara Dayley, entertainment by the Well Hungarians, all proceeds benefit Edwardsville Neighbors in Need

What: Taste of Maplewood Street Festival
When: May 18, noon to 9:30 p.m.
Where: Sutton Blvd, south of Manchester
Price: food samples at various prices
The goodies: 30 vendors, approx 15 are restaurants
Extras: Live entertainment throughout the day

What: Taste of Clayton
When: June 2, noon to 9:30 p.m.
Where: Brentwood Blvd between Forsyth and Maryland
Price: $7 per sample, $2 tastes
The goodies: 15 Clayton restaurants, including newbies z pizza, The Wheelhouse, and Brazikat

What: Taste of South Grand, 5th Annual International Dine Around
When: June 13, 5 to 10 p.m.
Where: Approx 20 participating restaurants along S. Grand
Price: $25 ticket book entitles user to one appetizer, entrée, dessert, drink, and a Wild Card that can be used for any course other than entrée.
The goodies: Vietnamese appetizers, homemade pastas, entrees, local frozen confections, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
