A smokey little bird just told us that if you act quickly, you might just be able to mug it up for the Travel + Escape Channel.
In about an hour, a crew from BBQ Crawl, a new fod show slated to air in the spring of 2013, will be wrapping up its cross-country tour of BBQ meccas with a stop at Pappy's Smokehouse before heading off to Kansas City...for some wanna-be BBQ.
The host of the show is Danielle Bennett Dimovski (Diva Q), who sports some interesting credentials: According to her bio, "she is a Canadian, a female, a mom of three, and wife living in the suburbs. Yes, but she is also "one of Canada’s highest ranked competitive BBQ’ers on the The Kansas City Barbecue Society team" and a "WORLD Champion of pork (2011-Jack Daniels World Championship).
Anyone who's seen her on video knows she has a keen sense of BBQ and an equally sharp sense of humor....so who better to visit than Pappys' Mike Emerson? Feel free to pay a visit yourself, watch the sparring, and maybe toss in a jab of your own. The cameras start to roll 10:30-ish.
