Boasting a hoptastic twist on Mizzou's rallying cry, iTap seems to have the handle on Saturday's Missouri vs Illinois "Arch Rivalry" game at the Jones(in' for a new stadium)Dome. The veritable 3-liter-stein full of Missouri brews is as follows:
At Soulard:
- Bar opens 9 AM (game time is 11:30 AM)
- Grilled brats on the patio--and they're free
- On the patio: Boulevard Wheat, O'Fallon 5 Day, Schlafly Oktoberfest -- all $3 per
- Inside:
- From Schlafly: Belgian Spice, India Brown Ale, Smoked Porter, AIPA in cask
- From O'Fallon: Sweet Nectar on draft; plus the Schlafly/O'Fallon/New Albanian C3 collaborative brew, and perhaps a cask of "Sticke it to the Man" Altbier
- From Charleville: Hoptimistic and Tornado Alley, + Belgian Pumpkin Spice in cask
- From Six Row: DIPA in cask, plus others
- From Boulevard: Nitro Dry Stout and also Amber Ale (mix them together for a Thundercloud)
- All the above Missouri Craft Drafts, plus other 12 oz. drafts -- $3 per
- Laclede Cab will be on hand for transport to the Dome
At Chesterfield:
If you can't make it to Soulard, the Chesterfield iTap promises a more than an ample supply of Missouri beers as well--and free food (while it lasts). Note that Chesterfield will open at 11 AM, as usual.
And sure, there's even a meager concession for Illinois fans (dare they show their orange little faces): $1 off Goose Island draft and bottles.
