Soon, baby, it will be cold outside. But the incipient winter will not stop the food trucks – especially the ones headed to the St. Louis County Parks.
Flush with the success of Food Truck Tuesdays at Tilles, St. Louis County has established two other mobile food courts, inviting food trucks to cluster at Creve Coeur Park and Faust Park in Chesterfield as well, through October.
- Food Truck Wednesdays at Creve Coeur Park (13725 Marine Ave., near Sailboat Cove) are the third Wednesday of the month (Sept.19 and Oct.17)
- Food Truck Thursdays at Faust Park (15185 Olive Blvd.) are the fourth Thursday of the month (Sept. 27 and Oct. 25)
- Food Truck Tuesdays at Tilles Park (9551 Litzsinger Rd.) are the second Tuesday of the month (Oct.9).
The group of 10 or so trucks at each gathering has included Cha Cha Chow, Chop Shop STL, Sarah’s Melt Down, Sausage Syndicate STL, Shell’s Coastal Cuisine, The Sweet Divine, Taste-D-Burger, and a smattering of others.
All of the St. Louis County food-truck convocations go from 5 to 8 p.m. All offer live music, wine concessions by Edg-Clif Winery, and special pricing on half-orders, so’s you can sample more of the goods. The fun is sponsored by the St. Louis Food Truck Association.
