Number of restaurants not returning from last year: 4 (Wasabi, Ritz Carlton, Luciano's Trattoria, Chez Leon)
General price structure: 3 courses for $25, plus tax and gratuity
Number of restaurants not offering dessert: 1 (ARAKA)
Most total offerings: 16 (Roxane)
Best value item: 6 oz. beef tenderloin (Ruth's Chris)
Most appealing menu: 3-way tie (ARAKA, Cardwell's, Remy's)
Options and alternates: At Crushed Red, the charge for two people is $25; Bocci offers a fourth course for its $25; some restaurants upcharge for more expensive offerings; most restaurants offer an "Add a Glass" option of adding a beer, cocktail, or wines for an additional, but nominal, charge.
Charitable option: Donate a $5 "Extra Helping" to benefit Operation Food Search
