In about 2 weeks, POPtions!, the local gourmet popcornerie, will take its "local" focus one step further when it introduces Bissinger's Ice Cream at POPtions' flagship store in The Village at Schneithorst's in Ladue. Several flavors will also be available at Bissinger's A Chocolate Experience in the CWE, but POPtions will carry the entire line, exclusively.
The plans are for Bissinger's to gradually roll out 10 flavors...all-natural and produced locally to Bissinger's specs, with emphasis not just on the obvious chocolate but on pure fruit flavors as well.
Watch this space for official opening day and the initial list of flavors. My guess is that "Popcorn" won't be one of them...POPtions has 30 of those flavors already. -- George Mahe
