Built in 1905, this Craftsman bungalow replaced the original home—which might have been the current garage. The house features a number of modern updates (like a pool and pool house) and was decorated by the homeowner Lisa Knight, who runs the interior design firm Design House.

Once featured on the Missouri Botanical Garden Tour, this 1926 home's landscaping, with its azaleas and dogwood trees, draws just as much attention as the interior. The dining room is vintage 1904; the kitchen and first floor feature a remodel.

This onetime bungalow was expanded in 1999 after 50 years in its more simple state. Reclaimed barn wood and a custom-made barn door define the foyer, which was renovated along with the rest of the first floor as part of a 2015 remodel.

Built in 1873, this home was damaged in a 1895 fire, then restored by its second owner, a window manufacturer who installed new windows throughout. The home is recently renovated, but many of the original details (like Italian marble fireplaces) have been augmented, rather than removed.

Originally constructed as part of the Nellie Vail Plant subdivision for the parents of an NBA star, the home features—perhaps unsurprisingly—a basketball court. Recent owners have updated the house, keeping some of the original details intact.

This former mayor's home is dotted with family antiques and features a stained glass window from the 1880s, but it doesn't skew entirely in the past. Recent updates include a fire pit, patios, and treehouse.
