2014 may be another season to remember for the St. Louis Cardinals as the team heads towards yet another round of post-season play. It’s also been quite the year for buying ex-Cards’ cribs. First, retired pitcher Chris Carpenter’s Ladue mansion was put up for sale. Now, former Redbird outfielder Allen Craig (currently with the Boston Red Sox after being traded earlier this year) is selling his 4,881 square-foot home in Chesterfield. Built in 1991, it has four bedrooms, four full-baths and two half-baths, a completed lower level, and three-car garage. The price: $799,900. The listing agent: Chrissy Krewson of Coldwell Banker Gundaker, cbgundaker.com.
