When Christina Weaver of Route, Laura Dooley of LoKey Designs, and Amy Kuntz of Oh Hey Aim met for the first time, they discovered that they share creative ambitions. Today, the three entrepreneurs are the owners of Seta, in the Shaw neighborhood, where items from each brand are sold under one roof. “It was the perfect collaboration: Split the space, split the cost, share customers, and collaborate on all creative things,” says Weaver. Customers snap up a houseplant at LoKey Designs and try on ethically made and secondhand clothing at Route. Oh Hey Aim offers an array of thoughtfully selected home décor. “Everything in our store is for sale, from the light fixtures to the rugs,” says Weaver. On shelves and atop dressers, potted plants are nestled among necklaces, rings, and Janet Hill prints and other art pieces; clothing racks are lined up next to chairs and drink tables. “We want people to come in and think, ‘I want my space to feel like this,’ and then buy whatever they need to make theirs feel similar.”
