End Table
Dobson’s father found this hideaway table at Selkirk Auctioneers.
Console Table
Dobson channeled her inner handywoman while creating this dark-blue table. After a trip to The Home Depot, she turned a piece of wood into a versatile high-gloss table. “You can decorate it so many ways,” she says.
Pillows
These Hello Dobson throw pillows are rendered in Lattice and Pagoda prints. “Blue and white is such a traditional look in the Midwest and the South,” Dobson says. “It never gets old and never goes out of style.” One of Hello Dobson’s most popular prints is Hot Pink Pineapples. “I’ve always been interested in classic styles like the pineapple,” she says. “It’s a very colonial symbol. It stands for hospitality.”
Ginger Jars
These chinoiserie ginger jars were the inspiration for the Pagoda print. Dobson taught herself how to design textiles: “I didn’t go to design school.”
Attire
Green and Blue Cheetah “It’s My Party” dress. (The print can also be used for pillows and drapes.) Like all Hello Dobson clothing, it’s handmade. When it comes to fashion, Dobson admires timeless looks: “Our skirt was designed off of Jackie O. It’s a very preppy style, the straight skirt with the slit down the side. I’m definitely inspired by classics."
