This weekend, the St. Charles Convention Center will host the 34th Annual Builders Home & Remodeling Show, one of the largest home events this fall. The show features the latest home products and services from more than 200 companies to inspire you. Here's some things to look out for.
1. Jeff Wilson, HGTV veteran and home improvement expert, will talk trends for outdoor spaces and ideas for energy efficiency in several seminars at the Home Idea Stage. Click HERE for the schedule and more information.
2. Bring the kids and celebrate fall at the Mills Apple Festival exhibit, featuring fun kids' activities, including free pumpkin painting. Also, watch Scott “Stormin” Norman, the Picasso of Pumpkin Carving, create amazing pumpkin masterpieces.
3. For the first time this year, attendees can shop a variety of kitchen and bath items, including cabinetry, bathtubs, whirlpools, faucets, countertops, shower bases, shower doors and tile at the Henry Plumbing Kitchen & Bath Warehouse Sale.
4. Gain some floral arranging skills through the hands-on floral design seminars at the Walter Knoll Fall Floral Stage. For a nominal charge, you can create your own bouquet to take home or give as a gift.
