Albie Mitchell, who is in the process of completing a series of exams needed to become a registered architect, describes COLLAB as “almost like a micro-design/build studio” with projects that range from custom shelves and residential patio projects to major installations. Mitchell’s custom-designed, handcrafted products are more expensive than furniture from a big-box store, but they can elevate a project from construction to craft—and maybe even art.
