Ceremony & Reception: With guests’ chairs arranged to create two aisles, Falyn and Bianca walked toward each other, meeting in the middle to exchange vows. “We both had that moment of seeing each other walk down the aisle,” says Falyn, “so that was really beautiful.” Their wedding colors were purple and gold. “I wanted the evening to be very romantic,” says Falyn. The dimly lit Caramel Room, studded with chandeliers, added the perfect ambience. Making the ceremony even more emotional, Falyn’s mother married the couple.
Blossoming Romance: Bianca and Falyn met at Clark Atlanta University and became close friends over the next eight years. While Falyn was at a wedding in Puerto Rico, Bianca wrote to her on Snapchat, and they later talked on the phone for hours. “You know what?” Falyn said. “We should be together.” Bianca proposed to Falyn first, when Falyn visited her in Atlanta, followed by a surprise engagement brunch and Falyn proposing to Bianca later that night.
