Ceremony and Reception: When KMOV-TV producer Brooke Wehner and local artist Travis Russell began planning their wedding, they knew they wanted it to be a getaway for family and friends—with St. Louis touches. Their ceremony and reception took place at the Blucacao Beach Club in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
St. Louis in the Tropics: Planning the decor came down to how it would pack; among the local items they brought were tote bags from The Curtain Factory, a guestbook from All Along Press, jewelry from Women’s Closet Exchange, a headpiece from Simply Elegant Bridal, and—most important—rings from Adam Foster Fine Art Jewelry.

Ceremony and Reception: All-star event planners Kelly Hummert and Amit Dhawan enjoyed a two-day wedding celebration including a Mehndi party for the bride at Lumen on Friday, a Saturday-afternoon ceremony at the Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis, and a Hindu ceremony and Lumen-catered reception at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis.
A Match Made in the Stars: This power couple had an impressive turnout during their wedding weekend. The many notable guests included Rams running back Steven Jackson; actress Tika Sumpter; Nelly’s manager Tony Davis; and best man Sam Koplar and his father, Ted. Sportscaster Mike Claiborne emceed the reception.
