Sometimes the magazine Real Simple gets so simple that you have to stop yourself from slapping your forehead with the palm of your hand and shrieking (Homer-Simpson-style), "Duh."
Recently the online version of the publication posted a fabulous post on 11 bedroom transformations. I suggest you check it out. Some fairly magical makeovers. And I suspect you will keep clicking back to the "before" shots to be sure it is actually the same space. A lot of times the dramatic change was paint; sometimes it was the furniture and occasionally it was what hung on the walls.
And speaking of the art chosen, how is this for cheap and first-grade easy?
The six-tych? Framed pieces of construction paper.
Granted, there is no depth of field; no searing emotion; no thoughts of immortality.
But then again, it's simple, it's colorful, it covers the wall nicely—and it doesn't come much cheaper or easier.
