Every morning I cruise down Manchester either go to or coming from work. For the past sevenl months, I've been meaning to slip inside Consign and Design Galleries (10036 Manchester, 314-394-2222), the new furniture resale shop at the corner of Sappington.
On Saturday, I finally made it in.
If you are shopping for bargains, I suggest you do the same.
Take this snazzy silver upholstered chair. Cute. And $89.
Or this painted dresser. The amount of storage is great; the look classic Shabby Chic; the price: $275.
The place is packed to the rafters. Hidden amidst it all, I found some nice antiques. But the strength of the shop is the breadth of the merchandise, the furniture, some of the accessories, and the prices. The prices are great—and better than most antique malls.
