If you live in St. Louis, it's more than likely you appreciate historic architecture. Hell, maybe you're even an rehabber. If so, this will be good news: the Color Guild, in tandem with Historic New England, has created a "Historic Colors of America," combo deck and color card, featuring historically accurate paint colors, including "Beetroot red," "Curry yellow," and "Blue Winged Teal." The entire pallette includes 149 interior and exterior colors, which were created by taking paint samples from historic buildings, as well as things like corner cupbards and folk art. No word yet on where the paint will be distributed. Note that the National Trust for Historic Preservation has developed a line of historic paints, available at Lowe's.
