In my opinion there is so much to love about St. Louis. The neighborhood haunts, the great food, the people; all top notch. But there is one area where we are lacking: an IKEA. Anyone who has had the chance to visit one, or who has opened a shelter magazine in the past 5 years knows that IKEA is a thing of beauty. A warehouse full of everything from kitchen cabinets to house plants at incredible prices.
But with the closest IKEA 300 miles away in Chicago (and a new one coming in Kansas City, which is still 4 hours away by car) and shipping from their web site a high-priced gamble, the possibilites of getting anything from there looked grim.
