Spend hours on a puzzle…and then walk all over it? Sounds like a great idea to Briggs Engineered Wood Products. Puzzle Floor, their latest innovation (www.puzzlefloor.com, 800-750-5563), offers an alternative to hardwood strip or plank flooring, using perfectly-fitted pieces to allow for do-it-yourself installation. Although Puzzle Floor comes in 13 standard colors, including “natural puzzle floor,” there are customization options, too. So if you think a puzzle isn’t a puzzle without a cartoon character or national monument, go for it.
We’re going to call this product “genius.” The only question: will your leather barcalounger look quite as good if it’s sitting on a gargantuan puzzle? It’s something to consider.
