Christy Zisser of The Upcycled Owl, Michelle Tribl of Brandon Interiors, and Deb Rankin of The French Bee partnered to open this home décor shop, which also offers in-home design and staging services. The shop carries handcrafted items, custom floral arrangements, gifts, jewelry, and more, many of which are made by local artists.
2 Chics on 2nd Street

This new shopping spot in historic St. Charles offers repurposed furniture, lamps, rugs, books, and more within 10 “galleries.” Many of the pieces come from estate and barn sales and flea markets. And if you love a piece but want it in a different color, the “chics” will paint it for you.
Marketplace at the Abbey

This 5,000 square foot home-décor mecca in Glendale, which opened in early March, sells custom furniture and accessories, including lighting, linens, upholstery pieces, and custom florals, along with elegant, French-country custom furniture made by Michael Moore.
Darby’s Estate Sale

Maggie Matheny scours weekly estate sales to find the best of the best for her shop, Darby’s Estate Sale. The small store carries interesting items from birdhouses to school benches and more that add whimsy and character to your home.
Frill Home

Co-owners Kristin Ebert and Marci Marsh stock their new shop with colorful, fun, eclectic items to add a finishing touch to your home décor. Look for items by local artists, pillows, candles, Eero Saarinen chairs, African headpieces, and more. Marsh, a designer, even offers to stop by your home and share her opinion if you’re wavering about a particular piece.
