Just imagine a sexy bathroom created with the illusion of light and its patterns.
Here the owner had part of his extraordinary art collection added to the bathroom in his new house on the Mississippi. Designed as a showplace the master bath is not a disappointment for the art lovers who discover his collection as they proceed through the home.
On the wall above the bath we decided to design the light not to focus on the tub but the wonderful screen nude on the wall—modeled after the homeowner's (at the time) girlfriend. (See the entire house here in St. Louis AT HOME, Summer 2005).
The accent light creates a wonderful shadow of the nude. To set the mood even further, illumination design with the shower delivers an attractive pattern of light through the frosted glass onto the floor.
Accent light also attracts attention to the "little critter" sitting on the edge of the tub.
