Fall is upon us, and so are the designer collections that come with cooler weather. With New York Fashion Week starting in just a few days, American designer Tory Burch is debuting an athletic leisure line for fall.
The new stand-alone line, Tory Sport, is a luxury performance active wear collection for running, tennis, yoga, and golf.
Lycra is a key fabric in many of the garments and other common features include compression paneling and ball pockets for the tennis skirts. The collection aims to be classic and refined, incorporating white, navy, and red hues. Some designs will feature fall colors, such as Bordeaux and orange.
A selection of pieces from the line were photographed for a spread on Tory Burch in the August issue of Vogue.
Tory Sport will be available at two stores in New York: Tory Burch’s original flagship Elizabeth Street store in Manhattan will reopen as a Tory Sport pop-up shop during New York Fashion Week, and the brand’s first stand-alone store is set to open on Fifth Avenue in March.
The collection will otherwise be exclusively available via ecommerce. Online ordering may be done in Tory Burch stores nationwide.
