It's the perfect 21st-century answer to vaudeville: burlesque and Internet cat memes. Pat's 75th Anniversary Party | July 29
Update: This event is sold out, but the bar will open to the public at 11 p.m. Earlier this year—closer to St. Patrick's Day, when the Ancient Order of Hibernians Parade winds through Dogtown—we wrote about the history of the Pat Connolly Tavern, which has served as a neighborhood anchor for 75 years. Admission to the celebration includes drink tickets, vintage cocktails, live music, and a commemorative T-shirt by STL-Style. Vintage cars will also be on show outside the bar. Vintage clothing (circa 1942) is encouraged. UPDATE: Advanced tickets for this are sold out. The party will open to the public at 11 p.m. at which point people can join the party with cash bar.
