Elvis Costello & The Imposters | November 21
Not to be confused with the "Jailhouse Rock"-er. Music's other notable Elvis, with his band of Imposters, are on tour performing songs from his first album in five years, Look Now. The Grammy-winning musician canceled his tour in Europe for a cancer-related surgery, and just two weeks ago had to miss his Connecticut show for throat issues. But it seems St. Louis is getting all the luck, and Elvis is set to bring the house down. Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m. $35.50–$128.50. Stifel Theatre, 1400 Market.
2018 Ameren Thanksgiving Day Parade | November 22
It's tradition. Whether you're someone who watches while still in pajamas, or braves the cold to see the balloons float east toward Broadway in Downtown St. Louis. The parade is expecting more than 130 units—including musical floats and displays, huge balloon figures, animals, some antique cars and firetrucks, and local marching bands. Winter Jewels at the Butterfly House | November 6–December 30
As St. Louis is slowly becoming a winter wonderland, so is the Sophia M. Sachs Butterfly House. Take a chilly day to explore the sanctuary, fit with a dragon and knights at the castle, tropical butterflies trying to stay warm, and fairy tale gardens in the conservatory. Andy Comes Home | November 24
In the name of charity, Bravo talk show host and St. Louis native Andy Cohen is returning to his hometown. A part of the celebration of the Clayton Education Foundation, Cohen, who graduated from Clayton High School in 1986, headlines the event sharing stories of his Clayton upbringing, education, and life now. 14th Annual Native American Market | November 23–25
Opt out of the Black Friday chaos and find a more relaxed experience across the bridge.
