The season may still be months away, but the Fox Theatre is already getting ready for its spectacular 40th anniversary, announcing this morning that the 2022-2023 U.S. Bank Broadway series will bring seven exciting musicals (and one exceptional play) to the historic stage, including family-friendly favorite Frozen and eight-time Tony Award winner Hadestown.
In addition to the U.S. Bank Broadway Series, The Fox will also host productions of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Les Misérables, and several holiday hits. Seven- and eight-show season ticket packages go on sale June 6 at 10 a.m., and sale dates for individual shows will be announced at a later date. In the meantime, here's a quick rundown of the season's shows:

HADESTOWN | October 11-23, 2022
Love, fate, and a journey of mythic proportions are at the center of Hadestown, the Tony- and Grammy-winning retelling of the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. Join the young lovers and a host of Underworld residents as they tell the tale once again.
Disney’s FROZEN | November 2-13, 2022
This stage adaptation of the Disney hit Frozen is fun for the whole family. The same magical story from the silver screen comes to life with an expanded score, so little Annas and Elsas will have even more songs to sing on the car ride home.
SIX | January 24 – February 5, 2023
Remember the old rhyme from history class? "Divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived?" Well, there's a little more to the stories of Henry VIII's many queens, and they'll be here with style and sass to set the story straight in this musical comedy.
Harper Lee’s TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD | February 28 – March 12, 2023
Aaron Sorkin's adaptation of Harper Lee's classic novel has been called "the most successful American play in Broadway history." Don't miss your chance to see this prized piece of American literature come to life on the stage.

Another Hollywood hit gets the Broadway treatment in Tootsie, a hilarious love letter to the theater that gives struggling actor Michael Dorsey a brand new role to play: Leading lady.
JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR | May 9-21, 2023
In the midst of The Fox's 40th birthday, celebrate another milestone with the 50th anniversary of Jesus Christ Superstar, Andrew Lloyd Webber's rock 'n' roll retelling of the final weeks of Christ's life through the eyes of Judas.
WICKED | April 12 – May 7
