Cha Boutique
Looking for new duds? A trunk show is a great way to get deals on your favorite clothing lines and to introduce yourself to new designers. This weekend, check out the Alice & Trixie trunk show at Cha Boutique (9666 Clayton, 314-993-8080). Cha will be hosting the show today through Monday for the line's upcoming Resort Wear collection, which features bright, happy colors and prints, maxi dresses and caftans, and summery separates. Shoppers will be able to pre-order their favorite looks, which will be in stores later this year.
Alice & Trixie designer Angela Taylor George explains that her inspiration for the line comes from vintage stores and global marketplaces and style icons from the past. The essence of the collection is what she describes as “bohemian glamour” reflected in vibrant prints and vivid solid hues.
The brand is sold locally at Cha, MACS Designs (9823 Clayton, 314-991-3337), and Neiman Marcus at Plaza Frontenac (100 Plaza Frontenac, 314-567-9811). Through the brand’s online shop, tops retail between $200 to $300 and dresses range between $250 and $400.
