In case you've been wondering what St. Louis rapper Nelly has been up to during the pandemic, we got the answer today: signing on to compete in the newest season of Dancing with the Stars.
The dance competition show pairs celebrities with professional dancers who teach them ballroom technique and choreographed routines. The couples then perform the routines for a panel of expert judges, who score then. Dancing with the Stars, which is hosted by supermodel Tyra Banks this season, announced its newest lineup today on Good Morning America. The season premieres September 14 on ABC.
Joining Nelly on the show are Backstreet Boy AJ McLean, Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, retired NFL player Vernon Davis, formidable Cheer coach Monica Aldama, and Tiger King's Carole Baskin, among others.
While contestants like Aldama and Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir might find the transition to ballroom dancing easier, we're betting on Nelly.
