Crowds at LouFest 2015.

We're happy to see more local music on the mix, and we think most music fans will agree this is one of the best LouFest dockets ever. Much, much earlier this morning—around 1:4 a.m.—Murmuration announced its lineup as well:
Flying Lotus
Tycho
Deerhoof
Yacht
Dan Deacon
Suuns
Prince Rama
Sky-Pony
Ice
Yowie
Yes, it's a smaller list. But it's a hell of a list! Of course, Murmuration is not strictly a music festival, being held in Cortex and all. There are panels (including the intriguingly titled "Art's Ability to Predict the Future"), a Maker Expo, an STL Innovation Showcase, a juried art exhibit, and food. There's also an area for kids, dubbed the "Future Innovators Zone."
Loufest (which happens September 10 and 11, still in Forest Park) has been selling tickets in waves; if you didn't want to risk buying them before seeing the full lineup with your very own eyeballs, you can now buy two-day and VIP passes, though single-day tickets have yet to be released. Murmuration happens September 23–25 at the Cortex Innovation Community in Midtown. Tickets go on sale today through Metrotix; you can find 'em here.
