Bringing life to the stage for the past 20 years, Lettuce is a funk icon. “People tend to look at funk as a one-trick pony,” says drummer and songwriter Adam Deitch in the band's bio. Lettuce has never limited itself standard funk, though, and isn't going to any time soon. This fall, they'll be recording a new studio album, with their classic, energetic style blended with more modern sounds. The band toured this year with singer Alecia Chakour, and released a limited edition vinyl with her this year. Their upcoming album will succeed 2012's Fly!
