On Tuesday night, Fubar hosted a stop on rapper nothing, nowhere.'s North American tour, which included Southern hip-hop artist St. Panther, Canadian artist smrtdeath, and gothic rapper Wicca Phase Springs Eternal.
St. Panther opened with her hit "Playa," and continued with "Can't Stop Us Now," and "Monday Afternoon." The artist, who chose a simple set-up (just a table for the DJ, and a mic) had the crowd swaying early into the set, which consisted of Sprechgesang, a German word meaning a mix of talking and singing. With a melodic hip-hop vibe, she was the least well-known performer, but by the end of the set, she had gained a new fanbase.

The Plug Society has this to say about smrtdeath: “Canadian artist Smrtdeath is rising fast due to his unique sound mesh of raw, emotional rap vocals with punk-infused beats, as well as for his creative sense of style.”
We’d have to agree.
smrtdeath’s reverb on vocals such as "Yung Disaster" makes for a catchy, danceable tune, and with the lyrics relatable to any age, this song should be an easy hit. Other songs included "Ride With Me" and "Come Right Over."

Noted as one of the creators of Gothboiclique, Noisey describes the sound from Adam McIlee from Wicca Phase Springs Eternal as “roots in witch house and early 2010s Tumblr rap culture, Wicca Phase is a shapeshifting sound unified by a vivid aesthetic.” Songs included "Return Year," "Bad Side," and "When Will It End." An impromptu wedding proposal from a fan took place onstage during his set (she said yes). If you missed Wicca this time, don’t worry. He’ll be back in St. Louis on March 11, which, he informed the crowd, is also his birthday.

By the time nothing, nowhere. took to the stage, the fans had swelled, packed in like sardines and hyped. nothing, nowhere. has added a drummer and guitarist to his set, which brought his music to another level. Songs included "Kerosene," his newest release "Dread," "Twentysomething," "Nevermore," and "I’m Sorry I’m Trying." The set had great energy and adoring fans. We predict nothing, nowhere. is on the verge of something big. Just wait, or rather, go check out his music now before that happens.
