Paul McCartney is day tripping his way to St. Louis for a concert at Busch Stadium.
Sir Paul McCartney will perform in St. Louis this summer for the first time since 2012.
McCartney will bring his One on One tour to Busch Stadium at 8 p.m. on Saturday, August 13. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. April 13, and prices start at $19.50. The three-hour concert will happen on a 170-by-70-foot stage with two large video screens, special effects, and lasers.
The former Beatle’s concert comes 50 years after Beatlemania hit the old Busch Stadium on August 21, 1966, days before the band stopped touring altogether. The epochal band played eleven songs, including “Day Tripper,” “Yesterday,” and “Paperback Writer” as well as a Chuck Berry cover of “Rock and Roll Music.”
