Platinum-selling recording artist Brett Eldredge lives for the holidays.
“The traditions of Christmas make you who you are,” says Eldredge. “Music is a part of all of us, and I love getting to be a voice that gets it out there.”
This year, the country music hitmaker is bringing holiday classics to St. Louis for the very first time as part of his highly anticipated Glow LIVE Tour on December 3 at the Stifel Theatre.
“This tour is growing to such an insane level,” says Eldredge. “It's beautiful to watch, because I want to do this show for a long time.” Eldredge has increasingly become known as “Mr. Christmas” because of the popularity of his annual tour, which began years ago as a single live Christmas show in Nashville in support of his 2016 holiday album, Glow.
The artist’s intentions will be welcome news for Eldredge’s loyal fan base, who first fell in love with the Illinois native via number one hits such as “Don’t Ya,” “Drunk on Your Love,” and “Wanna Be That Song.” These days, many of them look forward to his renditions of classic holiday hits, performed on a stage that resembles the most beautiful of snow globes.
“People are making this show a holiday tradition,” says Eldredge. “To see it grow in this way has been amazing. The audience gets to feel my heart and soul up there. I just pour it all out so I can help everyone feel like a kid again for an hour and a half…I can be a part of their tradition and they can be a part of mine.”
Indeed, with every single show, Eldredge seems to transform from a country music hitmaker to a timeless crooner committed to keeping the holiday magic alive..
“If I can do this when I'm 80 and still enjoy it and have my kids and their kids there, that would be my ultimate dream.”
