At 10 a.m. on Saturday, Lil Wayne tweeted that he would not perform the St. Louis stop on his co-headlining tour with Blink-182, alleging that he was kicked out of the Ritz-Carlton here and that police were involved. The "A Milli" rapper was scheduled to perform at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre the same night.
The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reported that Clayton police officers responded to a call at 9:53 a.m. from the Ritz-Carlton, where, due to complaints of the scent of marijuana coming from Wayne's room, there was a confrontation between Wayne's entourage and the hotel staff. Mark Smith, interim Clayton chief of police, told the Post-Dispatch that Wayne left the hotel voluntarily, despite the rapper tweeting that he was kicked out.
Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre confirmed via Facebook that Wayne would not be performing at the show, but that Blink-182 and Neck Deep would be, with Neck Deep opening at 7:30 p.m.
Wayne has since tweeted, telling fans to catch him at the Cincinnati concert on the tour.
