Artwork
“The majority of the artwork in here is either done by myself or by friends of mine. That’s something that’s really important to me: supporting local artists.”
Work Desk
Moore started wire wrapping during her decade in the military. “You know where you’re supposed to be, and everything’s kind of put in a box and very structured,” she says. “I’ve always marched to the beat of my own drum, so making jewelry was my creative way to get out of that structured mindset.”
Rebel + Ruse rings/bracelet
“My Native American heritage has influenced my love of turquoise,” she says. Moore’s work has been featured in British Vogue.
Tattoos
“I went to Mizzou for undergrad. A lot of my friends work at Iron Tiger, and that’s where I get all of my tattoos done. Every time I visit Columbia, I get something tattooed. It’s just a way to hang out with my friends.”
Boots
“I’ll thrift real leather boots and collect random belts or fabric and put them together.”
Décor
“It’s important for my space to represent who I am,” says Moore. She says she’s often inspired by English designer Ilse Crawford: “Her whole thing is wellness in the home. You’re not just decorating for look; you’re decorating for feel, texture, smell… I’ve had numerous people tell me there’s good energy in my house.”
