Earlier today, Variety the Children's Charity announced that ESCADA will be the featured designer at its annual Runway Lights Fashion Show on April 18 at Union Station.
The hallmarks of luxury fashion line ESCADA's designs are cool glamor, sensual femininity, and modern elegance. Celebrities Angelina Jolie, Naomi Watts, and Jessica Lange are among the high-profile fans of the brand, which started in 1978. ESCADA features fashions that run the spectrum from everyday wear to red carpet-worthy gowns.
At the event, the brand will be showcasing its spring and resort 2015 collections. Fashion director Daniel Wingate described the Spring 2015 RTW collection as a "fashion floriculture—with flowers in all forms, from exotic to romantic." The event will also include a selection of jewelry, paperie, housewares, and fashion available for purchase.
The annual Runway Lights Fashion Show, a popular event for local fashionistas and philanthropists, helps kick off a week-long fundraising campaign for Variety the Children's Charity, which helps provide local children with medical equipment for mobility and independence, educational and recreational programs, therapy, and more.
