If you missed STL native Eric Bricker's excellent doc Visual Acoustics (about midcentury architectural photographer Julius Shulman) when it screened at the film festival, catch it this weekend at the Webster Film Series. The organizers have paired it with two Q&A panels. Friday's talk features Stephen Leet (Professor of Architecture, Washington University) and Marlene Bricker, the filmmaker's mother; Saturday's screening features photographer, writer and blogger Toby Weiss (of the wonderful Built Environment in Layman's Terms), architectural photographer Ken Konchel and another appearance by Marlene Bricker. All the details are posted at juliusshulmanfilm.com and webster.edu/filmseries.
