We featured Erin in our December issue for a photo spread we did on St. Louis musicians. On that note, a tip of the hat to the marvelous Jeanne Trevor, another musician we profiled in that feature, who was honored for lifetime achievement last night at at the St. Louis Arts Awards. Other awardees included Robert Powell of Portfolio Gallery, Cinema St. Louis and Jessica Hentoff; I'm big fans of all three.
And if you didn't see Channel 4's report on how Crestwood is using art to leverage itself during the recession, definitely check it out on their website; I haven't been down to see what they're up to, but I'm intruiged by the possibilities. —Stefene Russell
