COLONIAL MARKETPLACE ADDITIONS
Two of St. Louis’ most popular boutiques will be relocating to the Colonial Marketplace this spring. Although they aren’t new to St. Louis, the new locations will be quite different than the originals.
After 30 years at Plaza Frontenac, jewelry boutique YLANG-YLANG Fine Jewelry will relocate to a freestanding building (pictured left) in the Colonial Marketplace development with a “French Ocean” design concept, coffee bar, hangout spots for men and kids, and more.
Also in the spring, kids boutique City Sprouts will move from its location on the Delmar Loop to the Colonial Marketplace and, owner Molly Curlee says, will focus on higher-end clothing brands, books, toys, handcrafted furniture, and unique essentials.
In early December, the St. Louis Business Journal reported that Sole Comfort and Paper Source had also signed leases at the Colonial Marketplace.
Sole Comfort, which will be located between Byrd Boutique and Clarkson Eyecare, opened in Kirkwood in September and will have a second location at the Colonial Marketplace in the near future (the opening date has not yet been announced). The store features comfort footwear for men and women and is owned by Tammy White, who also owns Sole & Blues on the Delmar Loop.
