Over ombre? Before you dye your tips back to their natural or preferred hue, you might want to check out the newest take on ombre. Seen on the runways of Jen Kao during the Fall 2012 shows, reverse ombre became a trend to be reckoned with. Unlike traditional ombre (traditional in the loosest sense), reverse ombre is natural color on top (dark or light) with dyed tips. Truth be told, I tried this trend last winter thanks to my natural blond locks. Dying my roots dark and leaving my tips blond was a must for any blond wanting to go ombre. But for brunettes, going reverse is a definite fresh take on the trend. Go natural and keep your brunette tips with a blond crown or have fun with it! Dye your tips black or even neon or pastel shades. There's no wrong or right way to rock ombre and that's a beauty philosophy anyone can love!
