As our Managing Editor, Bryan Hollerbach would say, this'll be "bunnyquick," since we're on deadline, but after the long holiday weekend, the blog needs to be fed. I may wear glasses but I'm still a sucker for sparkly things (maybe I belong partially to the genus Corvus?) especially when they blur the lines between art and craft. Adam Foster (who our Style Editor, Nicole Benoist Edgerton, profiled in our November issue), is a whiz at doing just that; his jewelry is so exquisite, I'd call all of his pieces heirloom quality, and wouldn't be surprised if some of them end up as museum holdings. He's doing a trunk show December 8 through 24 at Craft Alliance (the artist himself makes an appearance on December 13). It's the perfect warm up for their "Jewelry at Large," invitational, opening January 9, where artists will "redefine wearability and body decoration through unusual materials, scale and traditional and non-traditional techniques of assemblage." —Stefene Russell
